Constructed at a cost of $3.5 million, the Indoor Tennis Center is located next to the University's football stadium, BB&T Field, at the corner of 32nd Street and Shorefair Drive.

The 64,000 square foot building houses eight climate-controlled indirect-lighted Mondo-Ten tennis courts with an average daily court temperature of 69 degrees. There is spectator seating for 450, and the facility also has fully-operational locker rooms, an athletic training room and a meeting area.

The facility underwent a renovation in 2008 when new courts, lights and ceiling were installed.

The Indoor Tennis Center was the recipient of the 2002 USTA Outstanding Facility Award.
