Wake Forest Men's Soccer Team to be Honored at Halftime of Miami Game

Jan. 25, 2008

The Wake Forest Department of Athletics is offering two chances to meet your favorite Demon Deacon men's soccer players from this year's NCAA Championship team. The team will be signing autographs starting at 6 p.m. at the LJVM Coliseum on Tuesday, Jan. 29th, one hour before the Wake Forest men's basketball team tips-off with the Miami Hurricanes.

The men's soccer team, which won its first NCAA Championship in December, will be honored at halftime of the Miami game. Tickets are still available by calling the Wake Forest ticket office at (336) 758-DEAC (3322) or by visiting wakeforestsports.com. Don't miss your chance to thank the men's soccer team for bringing Wake Forest its eighth national championship.

Wake Forest soccer players will also be outside of the Deacon Shop at Hanes Mall on Sunday, Jan. 27 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. if you are unable to attend the basketball game.

The men's basketball team will look to extend its streak of 15 consecutive home wins when conference foe Miami comes to Winston-Salem Tuesday at 7 p.m. The streak is a conference-best and includes two straight ACC victories.
