Laura Diaz closed with three birdies in her final 10 holes to shoot a final round 3-under 69 and finish T26th at the LPGA Tour's HSBC Women's Champions in Singapore.

Diaz opened with rounds of 75-73 to narrowly make the cut but an even-par round of 72 on Saturday and her round of 69 on Sunday enabled her clime up the leaderboard.

On the Champions Tour, Scott Hoch posted rounds of 70-71-70=211 (-2) to finish tied for 32nd while Jay Sigel carded scores of 70-74-72=216 (+2) to finish in a tie for 57th.

Len Mattiace made his second cut on the Nationwide Tour at the HSBC New Zealand PGA Championship. He opened with a 3-under 69 and followed that with rounds of 72-72-73 to finish tied for 49th at 2-under.

Kyle Reifers and Ron Whittaker also played at the New Zealand Championship but both players missed the cut which fell at 3-under.

The PGA Tour was at the Honda Classic in Florida this weekend but all three former Deacons, Webb Simpson, Billy Andrade and Bill Haas, wound up missing the cut.

The PGA Tour will hold a full-field event in Puerto Rico this week while the World Golf Championships-CA Championship will also be played at Doral in Miami this weekend.

The Nationwide Tour will stay in New Zealand for the Michael Hill New Zealand Open and the Champions Tour will host the AT&T Champions Classic in Valencia, Calif. The LPGA Tour will have the weekend off.
