April 20, 2006

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Wake Forest ISP Sports Network has solidified its coverage throughout central North Carolina with the addition of FM Talk 101.1 WZTK in Burlington.

The 100,000-watt station will carry Demon Deacon football and men's basketball broadcasts as well as weekly call-in shows featuring head coaches Jim Grobe and Skip Prosser during their respective seasons.

"We're quite excited about our new affiliation with Wake Forest University and ISP Sports," Bill Whitley, FM Talk 101.1 WZTK general manager said. "Throughout the Triad and Triangle, Demon Deacon fans will enjoy 'Static Free ACC' made possible by the FM delivery of the games. The signal of FM Talk 101.1 WZTK covers more population mass than any other station in North Carolina, allowing more Deacon fans than ever to hear the exciting broadcasts."

WTZK-FM is the second 100,000-watt member of the Wake Forest ISP Network. Flagship station WBRF-FM (98.1) currently provides Deacon fans with outstanding coverage throughout the Winston-Salem area and northwest North Carolina.

"We are very pleased to have FM Talk 101.1 join our network," Bill Merrifield, Senior Vice President of ISP Sports said. "Our Wake Forest broadcasts will now have crystal clear coverage along the I-40 corridor that connects the Triad and Triangle regions."
