Kettie Fickter, Wake Forest's Assistant Director of Event Management and Scheduling from 2013 to 2014, has accepted the position of Assistant Director of Football Player Personnel at Liberty University, returning to her alma mater.

Fickter will serve as one of the few women in football player personnel at the Division I level, aiding director Charlie Skalaski in the coordination of recruiting, football camps and the management of the football program's social media platforms.

"Kettie is a tremendous addition to our staff. Having graduated from Liberty, she understands the culture and expectations of our great university," Head Coach Turner Gill said. "In addition, her experiences as an athletics administrator in the SEC and ACC will help in continuing to push our program in the right direction."

The Pittsburgh, Pa., native graduated with a degree in Sport Management from Liberty in 2010 and earned her master's degree in the same field from LSU in 2013. While at LSU, Fickter worked as a graduate assistant in the Game and Event Management office, planning and coordinating event logistics for the Tigers' 14 intercollegiate athletics programs. She assisted in the bid process for multiple NCAA and SEC postseason events, including the 2012 and 2013 NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament, the 2012 and 2013 NCAA Baseball Regionals and Super Regionals and the 2013 NCAA Men's Golf Regional.

During her tenure at Wake Forest, Fickter served as the event manager for the 2013 ACC Cross Country Championship, the 2013 ACC Men's Soccer Championship and the 2013 NCAA Women's Soccer Tournament. The one-year stint was Fickter's second as a Demon Deacon after previously serving as the Event Management Assistant during the 2010-11 year.

Fickter will rejoin the Flames football program after working as a student assistant for recruiting during her senior year in 2009-10.
