WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Wake Forest sports performance staff attended its annual convention last month as the staff gained more ideas to help Wake Forest athletes improve on the field and on the court.

Director of Sport Performance Ethan Reeve along with David Bass, Mark Seaver, Lauren McGuigan and Louis Thompson attended the National Conference for Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCCA) in Kansas City, Mo.

"It was a great overall experience and my assistants had a great time," said Reeve. "We're here to develop athletes in their sports. This field is very important to athletics, not just to injury prevention but it has to do with their performance."

Reeve was elected to the Board of Directors to a second third-year term for an organization that began 12 years ago. Along with the conference which included speakers and presentations, Reeve met with the strength staff for the Kansas City Chiefs before meeting with the strength staff at the University of Arizona and Arizona State University.
