ORLANDO, Fla. - The National Association of Collegiate Marketing Administrators (NACMA) has announced its 2013-14 award winners, with Wake Forest winning a pair of bronze third-place honors.

The "Wake the Demons" season ticket sales campaign gave Wake Forest its first third-place finish, coming in just behind a pair of Big 12 schools in Kansas State and Iowa State in Group 1.

Wake Forest's other bronze award came in the sales piece category for the men's basketball lanyard. Minnesota and Texas Tech took the top two positions in Group 1 in the category.

"We strive to provide the best fan experience for Wake Forest Athletics, but we also aim to be the best in class throughout the country," Wake Forest Director of Marketing Brad Keen said. "We are honored to be recognized for these awards; we are also inspired to be the best for the 2014-15 season and beyond."

Initiated in 2003, the NACMA Best of Awards program honors outstanding achievement in marketing and promotions. Awards are presented in 13 categories, with each category divided into three groups based upon school size and conference affiliations to promote fairness. An association record of more than 1,000 awards entries were received for the 2013-14 year.
