GREENSBORO, N.C. -- The ACC has announced championship sites and dates for the upcoming 2016-17 seasons. Included in the announcement is that Wake Forest will host the 2016 field hockey championship over the course of the first weekend of November.

At the newly-renovated Kentner Stadium, the opening round of the championship will start on Thursday, Nov. 3, with the championship taking place on Sunday, Nov. 6. This offseason, Kentner Stadium has been treated to a resurfacing project to improve the playing surface and help water drainage, as well as upgraded field lighting, irrigation system and press box upgrades to assist with future streaming of games.

The first ACC championship is set for October 28, as the men's and women's cross country teams will converge on WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, North Carolina, to compete for the league crown.
