Brett Hickman to Serve as Third Vice President of CEFMA in 2011-12

WINSTON- SALEM, N.C. - The members of the Collegiate Event and Facility Management Association (CEFMA) have selected co-founder Brett Hickman, assistant athletics director of event management and facilities at Wake Forest, to serve as third Vice President for 2011-12.

Hickman joins Andrea Williams, who will serve as the organization's third-ever president, Armstrong Atlantic State University Director of Athletics Lisa Sweany, and Capital University Director of Athletics, Dawn Stewart, as officers for the association.

"CEFMA, with the support of its membership, constituents and sponsors, enjoyed another successful year and we look forward to continuing the momentum as we look to the future," said Williams, an associate commissioner at the Big Ten Conference and incoming CEFMA President. "CEFMA will continue to set new goals and embark on new opportunities for 2012 while continuing to promote the development, leadership and success of administrators in our field."

The 2011-12 athletic season will be Hickman's tenth in the Wake Forest Athletic Department. As Assistant Athletic Director for Event Management and Facilities, Hickman is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of all Wake Forest facilities and supervising the management of Demon Deacon home events.
