Wake Forest Puts 140 Student-Athletes on ACC Honor Roll

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Wake Forest put 140 student-athletes on the 2011-12 Atlantic Coast Conference Honor Roll, which recognizes academic excellence by varsity athletes.

The ACC Honor Roll is comprised of student-athletes who participated in a varsity-level sport and registered a grade point average of 3.00 or better for the full academic year. The conference acknowledged a record 2,903 student-athletes for their hard work in the classroom during the 2011-12 academic year.

Headlining the Wake Forest contingent was five-time honoree Camille Collier from women's basketball and 2011 ACC Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Year Katie Stengel, who made the honor roll for the second time.

Four-year honorees from Wake Forest were Faith Adams (field hockey), Lee Bedford (golf), Sarah Brobeck (track and field), Caitlin Crawford (track and field), Ryann Cutillo (tennis), Alex Hill (track and field), Paul Loeser (track and field), Laura Rapp (track and field), Carlin Salmon (volleyball), Madison Vain (volleyball), Lindsay Wofford (women's soccer) and Michael Wooten (track and field).
