Oct. 2, 2009

Fans be sure to visit Deacon Tailgate Town on Baity Street this week prior to attending the NC State game and enjoy many special attractions.

The activities begin at 12:30 p.m. with music from the Michael Alvorado Band on the Lowe's Home Improvement stage. Food vendors from Bibs Downtown, Mountain Fried Chicken and Domino's will be on hand with great food available to purchase.

This week the Allstate Tailgate Tour will be a featured attraction in Deacon Tailgate Town. The Allstate Tailgate Tour includes many fan interactive games and displays. Take a walk through the College Football Legacy Museum featuring collectable jerseys and a helmet wall displaying helmets from the early 1930's to today's modern day version. Outside of the museum enjoy watching other college football games on the plasma tv and test your skills and win some Allstate prizes by attempting a field goal into a replica "Good Hands" net similar to the one inside BB&T Field.

Other attractions this week in Deacon Tailgate Town will be displays by Lowe's Foods and Partnership for a Drug Free North Carolina, along with inflatable games, face painters, raffle tickets for the Harley Davidson Motorcycle and much more.
