Joel Coliseum Will Show ACC Title Game On Video Board Saturday

Nov. 29, 2006

WINSTON-SALEM - Saturday's ACC Football Championship game between Wake Forest and Georgia Tech will be shown on the video board at Lawrence Joel Coliseum prior to the Demon Deacons' basketball game against Georgia.

Doors to the coliseum will open no later than 12:30 p.m. The football game, televised by ABC, begins at 1 p.m. At 5:10 p.m., Wake Forest and Georgia play in a key non-conference basketball tilt. Approximately 30 minutes after the Wake-Georgia game, the Wake Forest women's basketball team hosts Charleston Southern.

The video board will be lowered for optimal viewing of the football game as Wake Forest seeks its first ACC title since 1970.

Parking lots, concession stands and restrooms will all be operational.

Seating for viewing the football game will be general admission. Once the football game is over, fans will relocate to the seat printed on their ticket.

Admission to watch the football game is free to those who already have tickets to the WFU-Georgia basketball game. Wake Forest students receive free admission by showing their student identification. Tickets to watch the football game and both basketball games can be purchased for just $10 at the Lawrence Joel Coliseum box office.
