Addison Sutton joined the Deacon Club staff in 2016 and is serving as an assistant director of development working with the Annual Fund team. Sutton focuses on qualification, cultivation, and solicitation of prospects. She is involved with identifying major gift prospects, young alumni engagement, current-student relations, local and regional Deacon Club events planning, and fundraising for specific athletic capital campaigns.

During her four years of undergraduate studies, she interned with IMG College in the areas of sales, events planning, and marketing. Some of her favorite projects were her work with Wimbledon and events surrounding the ACC and NCAA Tournaments. Upon graduation Addison took a full-time position with IMG College as an executive administrative assistant and continued her events-based work as well. During her graduate studies she helped to develop specific marketing plans for Cigna Health Insurance and Dairi-O Restaurants.

Originally from Winston-Salem, N.C., Addison graduated from Wake Forest University in 2014 with degrees in both Politics with International Affairs and History. She received her Master's in Management from Wake Forest University School of Business in 2016. During her time at Wake Forest, Addison was a member of the club softball team, Tri-Delta, and an executive board member for several campus charity groups working with St. Jude's, The Brian Piccolo Cancer Research Foundation, and Boy's and Girl's Clubs of Winston-Salem.
