Randy Casstevens, a 1987 graduate of Wake Forest University, joined the Athletic Department staff as Wake Forest's associate athletic director for finance in May, 2012.
In his role at Wake Forest, Casstevens is responsible for overseeing and supervising all financial aspects of the Athletics Department including budgeting, forecasting, review of income and expenditure items and reporting. In addition, he oversees ticket office operations and the athletics equipment department.
Casstevens graduated cum laude from WFU in 1987 with a bachelor of science in accountancy. He earned an MBA from Wake Forest in 1995.
Prior to joining Wake Forest, Casstevens served as the chief financial officer of a local marketing and advertising firm. He has also served locally as a financial and accounting consultant for Wake Forest Athletics and for local companies in a wide range of industries including food, catering, marketing and advertising and wholesale construction sales as well as a local investment bank. Casstevens was a counselor with the Graduate School of Business at WFU and spent six years in public accounting and as the CFO, senior vice president and controller of Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, Inc.
Casstevens and his wife Deborah reside in Winston-Salem with their two sons, Ben and William.
