Assistant Athletic Trainer

Alma Mater:

David Chandler arrived in October 2013, serving as the assistant athletic trainer for track & field and cross country.

Chandler was the head track & field athletic trainer at the University of Georgia for three and a half years. He also spent two years working with the men's tennis team as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Georgia.

In his current role, Chandler works to provide the best medical care coverage possible, including evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation of student-athletes. He is trained in active release techniques, Kinesiology, taping as well as Graston techniques.

The Indianapolis native earned his undergraduate degree from Xavier University in 2008 and his master's degree from Georgia in 2010.

Chandler and his wife, Sarah, welcomed their first child, Oliver, in March 2017. The Chandlers reside in Winston-Salem.
