Christia H. Fisher is in her third season in the Wake Forest Athletic Department. Fisher serves in the Student-Athlete Services Office as the Tutor Coordinator and the academic counselor for the women's golf team.

A native of Chapel Hill, N.C., Fisher is responsible for coordinating the tutors for all Demon Deacon student-athletes.

Fisher earned her bachelor's degree in history from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1986. She then went on to earn a pair of master's degrees from Wake Forest, an M.A. in History in 1992 and an M.A. in Religion in 1997.

Prior to joining the Athletic Department, Fisher served as the Assistant Director of Merit-Based Scholarships and also worked in the Office of Development and the Office of Financial Aid. Fisher served as a tutor with Student-Athlete Services prior to joining the office full-time.

Fisher lived and worked in Boston before moving to Winston-Salem.

Fisher and her husband, John, are the parents of three children: Rand (15), Linden (13) and Leah (9). The family resides in Winston-Salem
