Gerard McMahon joined the Demon Deacons in 2014. He serves as the Assistant Athletic Director for Development/Annual Fund.

In his current role, McMahon focuses on capital giving, athletic endowments and oversight of the Deacon Club Annual Scholarship Fund.

McMahon joined the Wake Forest staff from Temple University, where he most recently served as assistant athletic director for capital campaigns, overseeing the department's capital giving and endowment efforts. Prior to Temple, McMahon began his professional career at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee.

Originally from West Chester, Penn., McMahon graduated from Wake Forest in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Business and received his Master in Sport Administration from Belmont in 2009.

He currently resides in Winston-Salem with his wife Kristen, a 2006 Wake Forest graduate, and son, Jackson Leo.
