Corey Jenkins is in his ninth year at Wake Forest in 2015-16 and his third as Assistant Athletic Director of Events, Facilities, and Operations. He was promoted to Assistant AD in July of 2013.

Jenkins previously served as the Director of Event Management and Facilities from June 2012-June 2013 and as Assistant Director of Event Management and Facilities from 2007-2012.

Jenkins is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Event Management, Event Operations, and Special Events Departments. He also serves as the gameday manager for football and oversees the operational aspects and usage of all athletic facilities. Since the purchase of the Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum in 2013, Jenkins has taken on the supervision of the Coliseum, it's daily operations, and all events held there including concerts, graduations, conventions, and other community events.

Jenkins has also served as the tournament manager for several ACC and NCAA Championship events including the ACC Field Hockey Tournament, 1st and 2nd Rounds of NCAA Field Hockey, and the NCAA Field Hockey National Championship.

Jenkins, a native of Athens, Ga., graduated from the University of Georgia in 2005 with a BSED in Sports Studies and a minor in sociology. Following graduation, Jenkins was an intern in UGA's Event Management Department, serving as the event manager for the Bulldog track & field squads. Jenkins was also the tournament manager for the 2006 NCAA Baseball Regional and Super Regional Tournaments held in Athens.

Jenkins then went on to earn a Master's degree in sports administration from Florida State University in 2007. At FSU, he served as a student assistant in the Facilities and Events Department and taught several undergraduate courses.

Jenkins currently resides in Winston-Salem with his wife, Faith.
