Matthew Korte is in his second season with the Wake Forest Athletic Department in 2012-13. Korte, who joined the Demon Deacons in January of 2012, serves as the Director of Sales and Development.

In his current role, Korte is responsible for overseeing the growth of sales and the continued high level of customer service for Wake Forest football and basketball games through season tickets, hospitalities and group tickets.

A native of Dayton, Ohio, Korte spent four years as the Senior Corporate Marketing Manager for the Frisco RoughRigers, the Dallas-based Double-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers, from 2008-11.

Korte also interned with International Sports Properties at Miami (Ohio) University from 2007-08. He received a bachelor of arts degree in political science from Miami in 2008.

Korte resides in Winston-Salem with his girlfriend, Kayla, and their German Shepherd Cassius. Korte is a loyal fan of the Cincinnati Reds and Cincinnati Bengals.
