Bestselling author and WFU alum Emily Giffin remembers legendary equipment manager

Roxann Moody begins her 15th season as Wake Forest's Head Equipment Manager and her 35th year of service within Wake Forest athletics in 2015-16. Prior to becoming the Head Equipment Manager, she served under David "Sarge" Tinga for as both a student manager and assistant equipment manager. She was also a member of the Demon Deacon women's basketball team, while earning her Bachelor's degree in Sociology.

Roxann followed her playing days as an assistant coach for women's basketball from 1982-86. She obtained a Master's degree in Counseling from North Carolina A&T State University in 1994.

Roxann is a certified member of the Athletic Equipment Managers Association (AEMA) and has held positions as District Vice President and Newsletter Editor as well as serving on numerous committees.
