Demon Deacons Earn Their Degrees

A total of 71 Wake Forest student-athletes received their degrees on Monday

After spending three years at Wake Forest and serving as an Assistant Director of Athletic Communications from 2012-15, Nick Sebesta has since been working as a Gameday Assistant while working full-time as a fourth-grade teacher.

A 2010 graduate of Colorado State University with a degree in communications, Sebesta earned his master's degree in Educational Leadership from Lynchburg College in Lynchburg, Va. in 2012. He has previously worked as the primary contact for Wake Forest baseball, men's soccer, volleyball and field hockey, also serving as a secondary basketball contact.

Sebesta joined Wake Forest in 2012 after spending two years as the Assistant Sports Information Director at Division III Lynchburg College. Along with serving as the contact for the nationally ranked women's soccer, field hockey and baseball programs, he helped with the design and creation of the LC athletics website.

For over two years, Sebesta worked with the CSU athletic communications staff in a variety of roles along with serving as the play-by-play voice for Rams volleyball and color commentator for the women's basketball program.

He resides in Winston-Salem.
