Associate Athletic Director, Major Gifts

Mike Piscetelli is currently serving as the assistant AD for major gifts. In his current role, he works with all Wake Forest University "Wake Will Campaign" athletic priorities. Piscetelli's focus is on capital giving, athletic endowments and annual Deacon Club scholarship support.

Piscetelli joined the Wake Forest staff in 2005, serving as a compliance specialist for one year. He then served as the assistant director of marketing and promotions for two seasons, from 2006-08, and then as associate director of development from 2008-09. Since 2009, as the assistant AD for major gifts, Piscetelli has been instrumental in the development of the Wake Forest athletic program.

A native of Westbury, N.Y., Piscetelli graduated from Wake Forest in 2005 with a B.A. in Psychology. A member of the track & field team, Piscetelli was voted a captain in both his junior and senior seasons and was voted the ACC award winner of the NCAA Sportsmanship Award. Throughout his career, Piscetelli had four top-10 finishes in the decathlon event at the ACC Championships. He also had the honor of serving as the chair of the Division I National Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, representing the voice of D-I athletes across the country.

He currently resides in Winston-Salem with his wife Jacqlyn, a Wake Forest graduate and former track & field student-athlete, and their children, Ava and Thomas.
