Emily Richey enters her sixth year in the Wake Forest Media Relations office in 2012-13. She manages the daily requirements of the office and assists the staff with publications where needed.

Emily also produces video content for WakeForestSports.com, coordinates the duties of the student employees and handles media credentials for football and basketball.

Prior to coming to Wake Forest, Emily worked at CNN for three years, followed by 11 years as a visual effects and computer animation producer at Crawford Communications in Atlanta and R/Greenberg Associates in New York City.

She earned a bachelor of science degree in mass communications from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, in 1984.

Emily's greatest joys come from her two children, 13-year old Carter and 10-year old Rosalie - both avid Demon Deacon fans.
