Regional Director of Development

Steve Vallos, who joined the Wake Forest Athletics in 2015, serves as a regional director of development in the Deacon Club.

A member of Wake Forest's 2006 Atlantic Coast Conference football championship team, Vallos graduated in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in communication.

A native of Boardman, Ohio, Vallos joined the Demon Deacon football team in 2002 and became a Freshman All-American in 2003 as a redshirt. He was a second team All-ACC pick in 2004, earned honorable mention in 2005 and was a first team pick in 2006. As a senior, he was a first team All-American by Sports Illustrated and The Sporting News. Vallos started all 48 games of his college career.

Following graduation, Vallos was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks and spent seven seasons in the NFL with the Seahawks, Browns, Eagles, Jaguars, and Broncos, finishing his career in 2014.

Vallos and his wife Lindsey reside in Winston-Salem with their children: Teddy, Lucy, and Gigi.
