Seth Youngblood is in his second season at Wake Forest in 2012-13. Youngblood serves as an academic counselor for the Demon Deacon football program.

Youngblood is responsible for monitoring the academic performance of Wake Forest student-athletes and helping them to fulfill their undergraduate academic requirements. He also coordinates study hall and tutors and aids in the development of time management skills for the student-athletes.

A native of Garner, N.C., Youngblood previously served on campus as an academic counselor in the Wake Forest Office of Academic Advising. He was also a tutor and study coach for Student-Athlete Services.

Youngblood earned a degree in psychology from NC State in 2005. He went on to earn a master's degree in Counselor Education from Clemson in 2008. During his time at NC State, Youngblood was an academic counselor intern for the Wolfpack football program.

Youngblood, whose hobbies include photography, skiing and playing the guitar, attends Jamestown United Methodist Church where he works with the youth group.

Youngblood and his wife, Megan, currently reside in High Point.
