Wake Forest University's Spirit Office is the home of the Demon Deacon cheerleading squad, dance team and mascots. Our talented cheerleaders, dancers and mascots can be seen at all home football, men's basketball and women's basketball games throughout the year. The teams also make appearances at all away football games and basketball postseason tournament games.

All athletes must maintain a 2.5 GPA and attend weekly study halls in order to participate in appearances. Both the cheer and dance teams practice three times per week for no less than two hours at a time. They are also required to attend at least two weight-lifting sessions per week with the team's strength coaches.

2013 Spring Tryouts: Spring Cheerleading, Dance Team and Mascot tryouts for upperclassmen and fully-accepted incoming Wake Forest freshmen will be held Sunday, April 21, beginning at 4:30 p.m. in Varsity Gym, Reynolds Gymnasium. Incoming freshmen must bring a letter of acceptance and must be 100% committed to Wake Forest before being allowed to try out for next year's teams. All skill levels are welcome.
