CLEMSON, S.C. - Jordan Banks finished eighth in the pentathlon and the men's distance medley relay crossed the line seventh in the first day of competition at the ACC Indoor Track and Field Championships on Thursday.

Banks totaled a career-high 3659 points throughout the pentathlon's five events en route to the eighth-place finish. Last season, Banks finished 13th in the event at ACC Indoors with 3121 points. She increased her point total to 3614 at the Navy Invitational earlier this season before improving again on Thursday.

In the first event of the day, Banks finished sixth in the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.89. She matched the career high that she set on the same track earlier this season at the Clemson Bob Pollock Invitational.
