Dependable second baseman who might make a switch to catcher ... battled numerous nagging injuries throughout the course of the 1999 season ... veteran who is a leader both on and off the diamond.

2000: Named ACC's best defensive second baseman ... started in 59 of 60 games at second base ... batted .295 with two home runs and 32 driven in ... finished the season with a .960 fielding percentage with only 10 errors ... was second on the team with 23 multiple hit games ... laid down four sacrifice bunts, tying a team-best ... was hit by pitch 14 times, a Wake Forest single season record, and set a new career record at Wake Forest in that category (28) ... named to the Hormel Foods Classic All-Tournament Team for his 5-for-15 performance with five runs scored at the tournament in Minneapolis.

1999: Regular starter who missed only five games at various points during the year ... began the year batting in the No. 8 position in the lineup but quickly moved to the 2-hole in the lineup after a hot start to the season ... hit .404 during the team's first 16 games and kept his batting average around the .300 mark the entire season ... hit well in clutch situations, batting .342 with runners on base ... hit a game-winning solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to give Wake Forest a 4-3 win over UNC Greensboro on Mar. 10 ... hit safely in 9 of the team's last 10 games ... led the team in times hit by pitch (12) and in sacrifice bunts (12).

1998: The backup to senior Sunny Chiou at second base ... began the year as a reserve but worked his way into the starting lineup as either the DH or at second base by early March ... took on a backup role once again by early April ... had a career-high three hits in Wake Forest's 11-4 win over Duke ... went 4-for-9 in that rain-shortened two-game series ... hit .273 in ACC games only ... committed only two errors in 75 chances at second base (.974).

High School: Member of the 1996 and 1997 Catholic League Champions at Archbishop Raritan ... earned the win in the 1997 title game as a pitcher ... two-time league MVP (1996 & 1997) ... USA Today 1996 All-USA Honorable Mention ... 1996 Philadelphia All-City Co-Player of the Year ...two-time first team All-Main Line team ... hit .550 as a junior, with 43 RBI in 29 games ...
