Walter on Casstevens
"Ben is a right-handed sidearm option in our bullpen. As his breaking ball goes, so does Ben. Like most pitchers, when Ben pitches ahead in the count he is very effective and provides a good change of pace to set up the power arms at the back of the bullpen. He will be used as a match-up guy to come in and get a few right-handed hitters out."

2017 (Sophomore)
Missed the majority of the season with an injury and did not see game action.

2016 (Freshman)
Pitched in two games, coming in against Mount St. Mary's (March 2) and UNCG (Apr. 13) ... Retired the only batter he faced against Mount St. Mary's ... Conceded a run in 0.1 innings against UNCG.

High School
Ranks in the RJ Reynolds High School's top 10 in career ERA ... Named the team's most valuable pitcher his senior season... Earned two varsity letters in baseball and another in football ... High school teammates went on to play baseball at North Carolina, UNCW and UNCG.
