Hit over .450 each of last three years of high school, including a .543 batting average with four homers during sophomore season ... Named Baltimore Sun and Baltimore Examiner Player of the Year after junior season ... Three-time All-Metro and All-MIAA selection ... Helped his high school team to a 33-0 record during 2007 season, which included the team being ranked No. 1 in the nation ... Holds the state record for runs scored in a single season ...
