Walter on Bach
"Carter has taken a huge jump from last year to this year. He's an 88-92 mph left-hander with two quality secondary pitches, deception and movement. We are hoping he can win our Saturday starting role as he is the perfect complement to Griffin on Friday nights. If he can command the baseball consistently he has a chance to have a dynamite season."
