Saw extensive action during his inaugural campaign, playing in 45 games and making 34 starts ... All but one of his starts came in right field, while serving as the designated hitter vs. Radford on March 6 ... Tied for the team-lead among freshmen in hits with 27 ... Also led all freshmen with a .214 batting average, 19 runs scored, five home runs and a .381 slugging percentage ... Made his collegiate debut in the season opener at LSU on February 18 ... Homered for his first-career hit in Game 2 at LSU on February 19 ... Hit safely in five of his first six career games ... Put together three consecutive two-hit games from March 5-9 against Towson, Radford and Coastal Carolina, respectively ...
