"KJ has the best tools on the team. A 6.3 runner with power and a pure left-handed stroke. He has made good swing changes in the offseason which allow him to keep the bat in the zone longer. We are hopeful he can put the tools together and have a break-out year. If he does he'll find himself a high-round draft pick."

2015 (Redshirt Senior)
Made 11 starts and played 23 total games ... Had the biggest hit of his career at top-five opponent Louisville, hitting a pinch-hit, go-ahead, three-run homer off the Cardinal closer on Apr. 18 ... Hit his second longball of the season against NC State (May 8) ... Broke the game open against Towson (March 1) with a bases-clearing, three-run double ... Stole bases against Towson and UNCG.

2014 (Redshirt Junior)
Started in 11 games while playing in 22 contests ... Made his season debut against Stony Brook (March 1) while scoring a run ... Recorded his first hit of the season against East Carolina (March 12) and scored a run ... Went 1-for-1 as a pinch hitter against Clemson (March 15) ... Best game of the season came against Duke (April 26) where he went 2-for-4 with two runs scored and two stolen bases ... Played with the Kernersville Bulldogs in the Carolina Virginia Collegiate Baseball League during the summer.

2013 (Redshirt Sophomore)
Played in 34 games and made 28 starts for the Demon Deacons ... Picked up 16 hits on the year, including a home run, two triples and three doubles ... Was 5-for-8 on the base paths ... Scored 12 runs ... Went 1-for-3 in the season opener vs. Alcorn State (Feb. 15) with a triple and a run scored ... Was a perfect 3-for-3 vs. Coastal Carolina on March 19 with two runs scored, an RBI, a triple and a double ... Had his best series of the year at Georgia Tech (Mar. 29-30), going 4-for-8 with a home run, two runs scored and two stolen bases in three games.

2012 (Freshman)
Made his long-anticipated return to the diamond just one year after receiving a kidney transplant from head coach Tom Walter ... Played in 45 games and made 36 starts, primarily in left field for the Deacs ... Made his collegiate debut at New Mexico St. on Feb. 17, going 1-for-4 with a run scored ... Finished the year with a .224 batting average, six doubles, a home run and 14 RBIs ... Was 5-for-7 on the base paths ... Had six multi-hit games on the year, including his first-career two-hit game vs. Eastern Michigan (3/4), going 2-for-4 with a double, a walk and a run scored ... Smacked his first-career home run vs. Valparaiso (3/6) ... Had a 3-for-6 performance with three RBIs, a double and a run scored vs. Charlotte (5/15), marking his only three-hit performance of the season.

2011 (Freshman)
Missed the entire 2011 season after receiving a transplanted kidney from head coach Tom Walter on February 7, 2011 ... Spent the spring season getting healthy after surgery and returned to campus for summer school.
