Started all 55 games at shortstop for the Demon Deacons ... Following the season, was drafted by the Tampa Bay Rays in the 12th Round with the 368th overall pick ... Was fourth on the team with a .283 batting average and was third on the team with 54 hits ... Drew a team-best 57 walks and stole a team-best 19 bases on 21 attempts ... Had 19 extra-base hits with 14 doubles, two triples and three home runs ... Also drove in 38 runs ... Ended his career ranked in the Top 10 at Wake Forest in several categories, including walks (1st, 180), stolen bases (3rd, 68), doubles (4th, 59), at bats (7th, 817) and runs scored (8th, 181) ... Had 11multi-hit games on the year, including a four-hit game vs. Boston College on April 20 and a three-hit game vs. New Mexico State on March 2 ... Was one of four ACC shortstops to be named to the Brooks Wallace Shortstop of the Year Midseason Watch List ... As the Deacs leadoff man, he ended the season second in the ACC with 22 stolen bases, fifth in the ACC with 59 runs and tied for seventh in the ACC with 46 walks ... Led Wake Forest in all of those categories as well, while also leading the team with 66 hits and a .416 on base percentage ... Finished second on the team with a .292 average and 15 doubles ... Also belted two homers and drove in 31 runs ... 2011 (Sophomore)
Made 49 starts and appeared in 53 games for Wake Forest, primarily as the team's everyday shortstop ... Finished third on the team with a .258 batting average, while recording 14 doubles, three home runs and 18 RBIs ... Through the ACC Baseball Championship, he was third in the conference with 52 walks, and he led all players in conference games with 34 walks ... His 52 walks were also the fifth most in a season in Wake Forest history ... Was also tied for fifth in conference games with 26 runs scored and tied for sixth in conference games with 11 doubles ... Was a threat on the base paths, stealing 16 bases on 19 attempts ... Recorded the 100th hit of his career at Duke on May 14, going 2-for-4 with a double, a triple, an RBI and two runs scored ... Was key to the Deacon success, as Wake Forest went 10-1 in games that he recorded at least two hits ... Spent the majority of the season as the team's shortstop and leadoff batter ... Turned in 11 total multi-hit games on the year, including five two-hit games, five three-hit games and a four-hit game ... His four-hit game came against Winthrop on April 19, going 4-for-5 with three runs scored, four stolen bases, a home run and a double ... Had two separate season-high five-game hit streaks ... 2010 (Freshman)
Hit .270 on the season with seven home runs and 25 RBIs in 54 games ... Finished the season in the top 10 in games played (54, T-10th), games started (53, 9th), at bats (222, 2nd), doubles (16, 4th), home runs (7, T-10th), bases on balls (25, T-10th) and stolen bases (11, T-5th) by a freshman in Wake Forest history ... Went 2-for-3 with an RBI, a run scored and two walks in collegiate debut against Army (2.19) ... Had a team-high two hits and stole first career base against Coastal Carolina (2.23) ... Hit first collegiate home run in series opener against Kent State (2.26), leading off the game with a solo blast ... Went 2-for-4 with first two collegiate doubles, an RBI and a run scored in series finale against Xavier (3.7) ... Posted a .364 batting average (4-for-11) in series at Georgia Tech with three RBIs, three doubles and two runs scored ... Recorded three hits in five at bats against Gardner-Webb (3.17) ... Went 1-for-3 with two walks, an RBI and a run scored in comeback win against High Point (4.7). ... Hit .500 (4-for-8) in series at Boston College with three doubles, two RBIs and two stolen bases ... Posted a .462 batting average (6-for-13) in series against Duke with five runs scored and an RBI ... Had a career-high four hits with an RBI and a run scored against Appalachian State (4.28) ... Homered in each of the last two games in series at North Carolina and drove in three runs in the three games ... Tied career-high with four hits and hit a home run for the third consecutive game at UNC Greensboro (5.12) ... Went 2-for-5 with a run scored in win against Appalachian State (5.18).
