An athletic player who has made an impact the outfield ... first took over as the Deacs' starting leftfielder midway through the '99 season and blossomed during the second half of the year ... expected to be the starting left fielder.

2000: Played in 53 games and started in 38 of those contests ... hit .275 with seven home runs and 38 RBI ... was not caught stealing in nine attempts ... tied for the team lead in triples (3) ... drove in a team season-high seven runs against High Point on four-of-six hitting with a home run ... hammered home runs in three straight games from Feb. 21 through Feb. 26 ... finished the regular season strong while batting .400 (10-of-25) on a six-game hitting streak with two home runs.

1999: Became Wake Forest's everyday left fielder ... began the season in a reserve role after suffering a severely sprained ankle on the first day of practice in January ... quickly asserted himself when first presented a starting opportunity in early April ... made his first career start against Appalachian State on Apr. 7 and went 2-for-3 with a RBI ... a constant in the lineup since that game, starting 25 of the next 26 games ... entered the NCAA Tournament on a season-long 13-game hitting streak in which he hit .417 ... homered and drove in three runs at Georgia Tech on Apr. 17 ... hit .471 (16-for-34) with runners in scoring position and batted .429 with runners on base ... named to the 1999 ACC All-Tournament Team after batting .353 (6-for-17) with one double, two homers and six RBI ... hit a game-tying three-run homer in the ACC tournament championship game against Clemson and hit his other blast in Wake Forest's 4-0 win over Florida State ... was the leading hitter in the NCAA Winston-Salem Regional, batting .556 (10-for-18) with four RBI and seven runs scored ... named to the All-Regional team by a vote of the media in attendance.

1998: Appeared in four games as a defensive replacement in the outfield ... did not have an at-bat.

High School: Lettered in four sports in high school - baseball, basketball, football and soccer ... earned All-Conference as well as All-Region honors in each of the four sports ... named to the North Carolina All-State team in basketball and soccer ... hit .414 as a sophomore with one home run ... batted .449 in his junior season with two homers ... hit .359 with seven home runs as a senior ... competed in the Amateur All-Star Tournament in Chicago during the summer of 1997 ... competed in the North Carolina State Games in 1996 and led his team to the silver medal ... born Jan. 3, 1979.
