About Rosaia... Comes in as the starting catcher, splitting time with Austin Jones... excellent rapport with the pitching staff... solid defensive catcher... very experienced... major is health & exercise science... born on June 14, 1984 in San Francisco, California.

In 2006... Split time with Austin Jones at catcher, starting 30 of the team's 55 total games either behind the plate (28) or as a DH (two)... batted .231 on the season with four home runs and 24 RBIs... went 2-for-5 with a home run and four RBIs against Wright State on March 3... had other home runs against Elon (March 8), Quinnipiac (March 14) and Duke (April 16)... had five multi-hit games... threw out eight runners out of a possible 31 attempts.

In 2005... Started three games behind the plate but injured his ankle against South Alabama and missed the rest of the season... did gain a medical redshirt.

Prior to Wake Forest... Played two years for head coach Doug Williams... named All-Northern California in 2003 and 2004... earned all-state honors in 2004... preseason Junior College All-American in 2004... an All-Coast North Conference first team selection... batted .370 in 46 games with four home runs, 41 RBIs and 18 doubles... helped lead College of San Mateo to back-to-back Coast Conference Championships and the JUCO Final Four... also helped them to a school-record 40 wins in 2004.
