Walter on Kubrak
"Shane has recently lowered his arm slot in an effort to become more effective against left-handed hitters. He already throws his fastball to both sides of the plate and has a good change-up which allows him to have success against right-handed hitters. Lowering his slot and giving himself a better angle on his breaking ball gives him a chance to bolster our bullpen."

Retired the only batter he faced against Coastal Carolina (Apr. 11) ... Spent the summer playing with the Baltimore Redbirds.
