"Zane is a tremendous athlete, and I love watching him run. We don't have anyone better at tracking a fly ball than him, and he gets a little better offensively each day. Once he gets stronger he will be the complete package. He will see time in right field and will also spell Steven Brooks in center field from time to time."

Played in 36 games and made eight starts in the outfield ... Played solid in the outfield, and was often times used as a defensive replacement late in games ... Recorded his first-career hit against Minnesota on April 25, going 2-for-4 ... Also hit safely in his next two games to extend his season-best hitting streak to three, picking up hits against both UNC Greensboro and Radford ...
