WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Wake Forest capped off an undefeated weekend with an 18-7 victory over Radford at David F. Couch Ballpark on Sunday afternoon.

The Demon Deacons (9-4) earn their sixth straight win behind three homers, including grand slams from Bruce Steel and Zach Seal and a three-run shot by Gavin Sheets. The only other recorded time the Deacs hit two grand slams in a game was in a 26-0 victory over App State in the 2003 season-opener.

Ben Breazeale (4-for-4, two doubles, three RBIs), Jake Mueller (4-for-6, double, four runs scored), Stuart Fairchild (3-for-3, double, three walks) and Logan Harvey (3-for-6, double) also contributed strong games offensively.

With Wake Forest trailing the Highlanders (2-9) 3-2 heading into the bottom of the fifth, Sheets drilled a three-run shot to give the Deacs the lead for good, 5-3.

The Deacons tacked on six more in the sixth, fueled by a Breazeale two-run single and Steel's grand slam off the Pepsi sign beyond the left-field fence.

Johnny Aiello added a run-scoring walk in the seventh before the Deacs earned another six-run inning in the eighth. Jake Mueller had an RBI single and another scored on an error, before Seal's second-career hit went for a grand slam to left field.

On the mound, Drew Loepprich started and allowed three unearned runs in 4.2 innings on three hits, no walks and five strikeouts. Colin Peluse (1-0) earned his first-career win with a scoreless inning in relief, as he struck out a pair.

Rayne Supple, Carter Bach, Holden White and Shane Kubrak also had scoreless outings out of the pen.

• Wake Forest capped off its nine-game homestand with an 8-1 record, including six straight victories.
• The Deacs hit .373 as a team and scored 102 runs, more than doubling up opponents' run totals (48). Deacon pitchers had a 3.58 ERA on the homestand.

• The grand slams were the first of both Bruce Steel and Zach Seal's careers.
• Wake Forest now has three on the season, as Keegan Maronpot hit one on Tuesday against Davidson.

• Wake Forest travels to Conway, South Carolina, to take on the defending national champion Coastal Carolina on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
• The Deacs then open ACC play next weekend, playing host to NC State from Friday-Sunday.
