WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Boston College scored four runs in the top of the eighth, capped by Mike Belfiore's game-winning RBI double, as the Eagles rallied for a 4-2 win over Wake Forest to complete a doubleheader sweep on Saturday at Wake Forest Baseball Park. The Demon Deacons fall to 18-15 and 5-12 in Atlantic Coast Conference play, while the Eagles improve to 22-11 and 9-6 in league play. Trailing 2-0 entering the eighth inning, Boston College scored four runs in the inning to take the lead. Robbie Anston led off the inning with a walk. Matt Hamlet hit a ground ball to third, but Carlos Lopez's throw to first was low and got past the first baseman, allowing Anston to score and sending Hamlet all the way to third. Tony Sanchez followed with a game-tying RBI double and moved to third when Mickey Wiswall flew out to center field for the first out of the inning. Belfiore drove in Sanchez with a double into left-center field to give BC its first lead of the game at 3-2. Barry Butera gave the Eagles an insurance run with a double down the left-field line to make the score 4-2.
