ATLANTA -- Wake Forest closed out its series at Georgia Tech with a 6-3 win at Russ Chandler Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Logan Harvey went 2-for-4 with a double, walk and two runs scored while DJ Poteet was 2-for-4 with a three-run homer to lead the Demon Deacons (20-25, 11-13 ACC). Jake Mueller was 2-for-4 with a walk and stolen base.

Poteet broke a scoreless tie in the fourth inning with a three-run blast over the batter's eye in center field to plate Harvey and Michael Ludowig and put the Deacs up, 3-1.

Chase Murray put the Yellow Jackets (24-21, 11-13 ACC) on the board with a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the fourth, and a Nick Wilhite squeeze bunt made it 3-2 in the fifth.

Patrick Frick extended Wake Forest's lead to 5-2 with a two-run line-drive double in the sixth. That scored Johnny Aiello and Logan Harvey who singled and walked, respectively, and each stole a base.

In the seventh, Michael Ludowig delivered an opposite-field, two-out RBI single to push the advantage to 6-2.

Kyle McCann hit a sac fly for the Yellow Jackets in the bottom of the seventh to close out the scoring.

Colin Peluse started and struck out four in 4.2 innings, allowing two runs on four hits and a walk.

Rayne Supple (4-2) earned the win in relief, tossing 3.2 innings. He allowed one run on two hits, striking out four.

Tyler Witt picked up his second save by striking out the last two batters of the game.

The Deacs are on the road for two midweek games, traveling to High Point on Tuesday and Elon on Wednesday.
