WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Wake Forest will begin the season on the road for the third straight season when the Demon Deacons head to Monroe, La., to take on Alcorn State and Louisiana-Monroe on Feb. 15-17. The Deacs will play each team twice, beginning with a doubleheader on Friday.

Last Time Out
Wake Forest ended the 2012 season with a 33-24 overall record and a 13-17 record in ACC play.
The Demon Deacons earned a trip to the 2012 ACC Baseball Championship as the No. 7 seed, defeating NC State and falling to both North Carolina and Miami.
The Deacs most recently played seven games in the Dominican Republic against local competition.
This Weekend's Opponent
Alcorn State ended the 2012 season with an 18-37 overall record and a 14-10 record in the SWAC.
Louisiana-Monroe finished the 2012 campaign with a 32-30 overall record and a 15-15 record in the Sun Belt Conference.
The Warhawks earned a berth into the NCAA Regionals last year after winning the Sun Belt Tournament Championship.
Series History
Wake Forest has never played Alcorn State or Louisiana-Monroe in baseball.
