WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Wake Forest will play its first game at home on Friday against Youngstown State when it begins at eight-game homestand at Gene Hooks Field at Wake Forest Baseball Park. The Deacs will play two games with the Penguins and two with West Virginia over the weekend.

Last Time Out
The Demon Deacons fell behind 4-0 in the first inning at Western Carolina and never recovered, falling to the Catamounts 7-2 on Wednesday in Cullowhee, N.C.
Brett Armour blasted his first home run of the season, and Matt Conway went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI.
This Weekend's Opponents
Youngstown State enters the weekend 1-3 after taking one game of a four-game series at Samford to begin the season last weekend.
The Penguins were outscored 39-12 in the four games but did win the series finale 6-4. YSU is led on offense by Drew Dosch, who is hitting .500 (7-for-14) with a homer and two RBIs.
West Virginia dropped two-of-three at North Florida to open the year.
The Mountaineers also won the finale 4-3 and are led offensively by Billy Fleming (.556 avg, 5-for-9) early in the season.
Series History
Wake Forest and Youngstown State have never met.
The Demon Deacons are 11-2 all-time against the Mountaineers, including a 10-2 victory at home in 2003.
