Wake Forest and Florida State Suspended in 7th Due to Rain

March 23, 2012

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Wake Forest and Florida State were tied 4-4 in the bottom of the seventh inning before inclement weather forced the game to be suspended on Friday night at Gene Hooks Field at Wake Forest Baseball Park. The game will resume at 3 p.m. with Game 2 to follow.

The respective center fielders provided most of the offense, as Mac Williamson blasted a pair of solo home runs for the Demon Deacons and James Ramsey hit a two-run shot for the Seminoles. Conor Keniry and Charlie Morgan also provided RBIs for Wake Forest.

When the game resumes, Wake Forest will have Evan Stephens on first base and Pat Blair at the plate with one out and a 0-2 count.
