Notes on Baseball's Class of 2001

A couple of interesting notes about this year's team and the class of 2001 with three games left on the regular season schedule:

No other Wake Forest team has won more ACC regular season games than the 2001 edition of the Demon Deacons. This team won 16 ACC games, tying the 1999 team for the school record. The '99 team went on to win the ACC Tournament and advance to the NCAA Super Regional.

- The .689 winning percentage is the highest four-year rate since 1964.
- The 165 wins are the second highest of any four-year span. Only the class of 2000 has more wins (168).

This class finishes with ACC record of 59-35, a winning percentage of .628.
