WAKE FOREST HEAD COACH GEORGE GREER
"Both teams are excellent teams and neither teams knows how to quit. It comes down to performance and Danny Borrell was certainly a performer today. After throwing 120 pitches against Georgia Tech on Sunday and beating them he was able to come back today. One of the reasons we DH'ed him today is so we could pitch him and not lose the designated hitter and it paid off for us today.

"I've watched Danny for three years and he's been a clutch performer for us. I'm sure he'll probably go in the draft."

"It's all pitching depth in the tournament. If you lose on the first or second day you know you have to play extra games. The team with the most pitching depth is going to win as we've proven over the past couple of years."

NORTH CAROLINA HEAD COACH MIKE FOX
"I really don't know what to say after that one. That was a great college baseball game. It probably wasn't the most well played game you will ever see, but I don't think you will see a more dramatic one. I feel for my players. This was a very difficult game to lose. You have to give Wake Forest credit. They scratched back twice down two runs in extra innings."

"I think the game could have gone either way. You have to give them credit because they didn't lose their composure in the bottom of the innings when they were down. You have to give our guys credit. We kept battling. There is so much parity in this league. Anything can happen. Sometimes it is where the ball falls. Sometimes it is where the close pitches are. That is why it is so interesting to watch and so much fun. It is a crazy game."
