WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Wake Forest head baseball coach Tom Walter sat down with WakeForestSports.com's Steven Wright to kick off the newly relaunched Deacon Podcast.

Walter led the Demon Deacons to a 33-24 record during the 2012 season, marking the highest win total for the program since the 2007 squad went 34-29. The Deacon leader discussed the impressive season, the rule changes to the Major League Baseball Draft, his players competing in the summer circuit and what summers are like for head baseball coaches.
