Wake Forest to Play Black & Gold World Series

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -Wake Forest will play its annual Black & Gold World Series at Gene Hooks Field at Wake Forest Baseball Park, beginning Sunday at 11:30 a.m.

Game 2 of the series will then be on Monday at 5 p.m. The final two games of the intrasquad battle will take place on December 8 at 11:30 a.m. and December 9 at 11:30 a.m.

Admission to all four games of the series will be free for all fans to attend.

The Demon Deacons continue to prepare for a week-long trip to the Dominican Republic on December 16-22, which will wrap up the fall season. Wake Forest will play six games against a variety of local competition while out of the country.

Wake Forest is set to open the 2013 regular season on February 15 against Alcorn State in Monroe, La.
