1998-99
Started seven times at point guard, and played in all 31 games ... came off the bench in the last 18 games of the season, seeing quality action in most contests … outstanding in win over Florida State, scoring 15 points in the final 9:09 as the Deacs rallied from a 19-point deficit to claim a 67-65 win … hit two free throws with 5.2 seconds left to seal that victory … first starting opportunity came versus UNC Greensboro in November and he responded with 10 points and turnover-free play in 18 minutes … scored a season-high 20 points (all in 2nd half) in the following game vs. Mercer (a 75-57 Wake Forest victory) ... registered a third-straight double-figure scoring outing with 10 points in win over WIlliam & Mary … owned six double-figure scoring outings on the season (the Demon Deacons were a perfect 6-0 in those contests) ... scored six or more points in nine games (the Deacs went 9-0 in those games, too) ... began the year on a hot streak, hitting 17-of-27 shots (63.0%) in the season's first five games ... struggled from the free throw line in the first half of the season, hitting just 8-19 free throws ... however, he was 13-17 (76.5%) from the line thereafter … recorded season-highs of 6 assists and 5 rebounds in win over Coastal Carolina … matched that assist total with 6 at Duke ... finished the season with 48 assists, tied for the second-highest total on the team.
