Wake Forest Head Coach Jeff Bzdelik

Opening statement...
"I used the term resilient against Virginia, and that term applies once again to this basketball team. We got down 10-0 out of the gate and came storming back. We built ourselves a lead. I thought we got tentative; we weren't very aggressive on the offensive end and we were looking for the clock to run out. Boston College, on the flipside, was very aggressive. They put their heads down and drove, trying to draw fouls and get to the line. Our team is resilient, they battled, we got timely stops and we made it interesting all the way to the end."

On C.J. Harris's importance to the team...
"With his experience, C.J. really put the rest of the team on his back and carried us through in that first half. He did a great job and gave our other players confidence."

On the impact of the fans...
"I really want to thank our fans. Once again we had a great crowd, and our fans were really into it today. We appreciate their support and it really inspires our players. I really see a connection beginning to take place here."

On Devin Thomas's play...
"Devin is a very physical and passionate player. He really canceled Anderson out today. Devin had 11 rebounds and really battled with him under the basket. You can see that battle is going to continue for many years to come here in the ACC."

Boston College Head Coach Steve Donahue

Opening statement...
"I think it was a hard-fought game. Give Wake Forest credit. Most of the game they executed well on the offensive end and took care of the basketball. Travis McKie and C.J. Harris did a great job being leaders on the offensive side of the ball. We competed very well today."

On the offensive struggles in the second half...
"We didn't play very well on the offensive side of the ball in the first half either. I think when we fell behind we got discouraged and we weren't driving the ball to the basket. We only shot 32 percent, but we got to the foul line 26 times. It wasn't pretty, but we competed. Wake did a much better job throughout the game, but we hung in there until the end."

On Devin Thomas's play against Ryan Anderson...
"I thought Thomas played really hard. He gave Ryan problems catching the basketball, and I think that was key. Obviously Ryan is a big part of what we do, but he just didn't get the number of touches that we wanted him to get today, whether it was on a ball screen or down low."
